Spying: Audi Q6

Is there such a thing as too many crossovers? Not to Audi. They currently sell the Q3, Q5, and Q7, and there is a forth coming along.

A spy photographer caught a Q5 mule undergoing some winter testing and many believe what lies underneath the body is the new Q6. You might be wondering how they reached that conclusion and its simple. The pictures show this Q5 a little longer and wider than the production Q5.

The Q6 will be Audi’s competitor to the BMW X6 (don’t even ask why). Expect a coupe like shape and lowered stance. The engine range will include four-cylinder and V6 turbocharged engines in both diesel and gasoline forms, and a hybrid model is possible.

Why do I get this feeling that we will see the same fall out as the trucks and suvs did as consumers get to many options.

Flood a market with to much and people become confused and stick with what they know.

I think GM finally realized that they need to cover all the market segments,but not have an over kill of just one brand with too many special versions.

I personally think BMW has overkilled this and now Audi seems to be following the same poor plan.
