There has been a lot of talk about Cadillac working on a three-row crossover, but no substance to this. That changed this week as spy photos of the three-row crossover, possibly named the XT6 came out. The test mule is heavily camouflaged, but we can pull some details out. The front end looks somewhat similar to the recently launched XT4 with a large grille. Headlights appear to be off-the-shelf projector units - we're expecting different units on the production model. Around back, the tail

We've been wondering what the interior will look like. Well the spy gods have heard our cries and photos of the ELR's interior have come out. By William Maley Staff Writer - CheersandGears.com April 24, 2013 It has been speculated and talked about for months on end, and it now seems to be real. New spy photos released yesterday show that there is an ATS coupe in development. The photos reveal a mule looking like the current CTS coupe running around. The indication that has everyone believing that its an ATS coupe; the proportions. The mule appears to be using a short wheelbase, not a long one like you would see on the CTS coupe.

William Maley Staff Writer - CheersandGears.com June 4, 2013 The Cadillac ATS was conceived to beat the Germans at the compact luxury sedan game. Now it appears that Cadillac is upping its game by taking on high performance models with the ATS-V. A spy photographer caught what appears to be an ATS-V mule playing around with the benchmark of the class, the BMW M3. Judging from the shots, we can make out a more aggressive front fascia, flared fenders, quad exhausts, and larger brakes. As for

Feast your eyes on this. Left Lane News got their hands on new spy shots which show off the upcoming Cadillac ATS-V Coupe with no camouflage at all. The ATS-V looks to our eyes as being a CTS-V that has been left in the wash for a bit too long. The front has an aggressive front splitter that appears to be made out of carbon fiber, along with mesh grilles for the front clip. There is a hood bulge with an air vent to help cooling. Around back is a spoiler sitting on the trunk lid. The pictures a

Cadillac has said that elements of the Escala concept that was shown last year would be showing up on future models. Thanks to a spy photographer, we have our first look at what elements will be popping up. A camouflaged CT6 mule was caught driving out on some European roads and we can make out some key details. For one, the grille and badge seem to match up with the Escala concept. We can't say for certain as the grille outline is covered up. It appears the headlights are more horizontal a

William Maley Staff Writer - CheersandGears.com July 10, 2012 Cadillac has sent mules of the next-generation Cadillac CTS off to Europe for testing and some new spy photos show them in action. Apparently in Europe, its ok to have less camouflage on your test car and that gives us some big hints as to what designers have in mind for the CTS. The large front grille bears a striking resemblance to the Ciel concept. The front headlights, currently prototype assemblies at this time, appear to hav

The overall shape is similar to the Converj concept shown back in 2009. The ELR is expected to come with the Voltec powertrain from Volt. Expect the ELR t

We knew that the Cadillac ELR would be driving off into the sunset, but we didn't know when.   "I plan to continue admiring it as one of the most beautiful cars on four wheels. But we don't plan further investment" in the coupe, said Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen back in February.   This lead many to believe that Cadillac was going to keep the ELR until the end of the 2016 model year. That would not be the case as General Motors quietly stopped production in the same month.   “Cadi

General Motors has recently been in the habit of releasing vehicles in China before bringing them to the U.S.  Buick released the Envista in China back in September of 2022 but waited until just a few weeks ago to announce the Envista for the U.S. Similar patterns have happened with the Cadillac XT4 and Buick Encore GX. We suspect the same thing is happening here with the Cadillac GT4 that debuted Monday in China. What is it? The Cadillac GT4 is essentially a slightly fastback version

The engine boasted twin turbos, dual overhead camshafts, and output of 550 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque for the CT6-V. But with the CT6 set to end U.S. production this month, the future of Blackwing is up in the air.  "[We have] no specific plans for that engine, but never is a long time," said Cadillac president Steve Carlisle to Road & Track at the launch of the 2021 Escalade last week
