Images of Hyundai's Geneva-Bound i-oniq Concept Spring a Leak

Adding to the long list of production and concept vehicles leaked by Uncle Internet before their official reveal this year is Hyundai's new i-oniq concept, slated to debut at the rapidly approaching Geneva Auto Show. The oddly named concept car is said to be a preview of the evolution of Hyundai's "fluidic sculpture" design language and is billed as coupe, although its shape suggests its something more akin to a three-door hatchback. The overall result is something that arguably seems a little more French than Korean.

The i-oniq is 4,400 millimeters long — that's about 173 inches to you and I — and reportedly is rear-wheel drive. It's also supposed to be powered by an electric motor, with a small-displacement gasoline engine functioning as an onboard generator not terribly unlike the setup in a Chevy Volt.

These are the only details available, but we wouldn't rule out a full, early reveal from Hyundai in the near future. If not, at the very least, we should know more at the Geneva Auto Show.
