Rumorpile: Infiniti Considers A Compact Luxury Crossover

A new report from Motor Trend says that Infiniti is considering entry-level crossover that will use the underpinnings of Mercedes-Benz's new MFA front-wheel drive platform.

The new crossover will resemble Infiniti's Etherea concept, albeit with a taller ride height and wear the QX30 name. Power will come from Mercedes-Benz as well, with the 4.0L turbo-four from the CLA being rumored.

No word on a possible release date.

Interesting, would allow MB to get their global platform out and reduce their cost.

A 4 liter turbo-4?

A 4 liter turbo-4?

That will sure be a big ass 4 banger. 4 liters. I wonder why so big or is it a misprint and should have been a 4L 6 banger?
