Seeing a pickup truck fill up with diesel is a common occurrence. Seeing a Ram 1500 filling up with diesel is not. A new spy shot gotten by the folks at Automotive.com shows a Ram 1500 getting some diesel into its tank. The truck had been seen testing in the Southern California mountains.

As we've reported before, the engine of choice for the Ram 1500 diesel will be a 3.0L VM Motori turbodiesel V6. The same engine will used in the new Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel.

In that GM owns 50% of VM, would it be totally weird for the same engine to show up under the hood of a SIlverado? :scratchchin:

Sure as long as it also shows up under the Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon/Yukon XL Hood!
