Bentley and Lamborghini plans to build their own SUVs could becoming to a standstill.

Reuters is reporting that parent company Volkswagen could put a hold on these projects due to the current European economic crisis. Sources inside Volkswagen say the reasoning behind the hold is that it would allow VW to limit spending and keep cash reserves. The decision will come on November 23rd, the day when Volkswagen's board will review spending.

At the moment, Lamborghini's Urus SUV is currently waiting on a green light to move on. Bentley's EXP 9 F is waiting to go on with their revised design.

This is not a surprise with the world economic crises I doubt even the rich are willing to pony up crazy amounts for weird luxo SUV's.
