Can You Identify This Gear Shift?

Can you identify what vehicle this gear shift is from?

This is not a joke. It's from a friend's Facebook account. He says its not photoshopped other than colour and contrast tweaks (he's a pro photographer). Apparently it's from an abandoned vehicle, all he gave me so far is the location. I asked him for more info, I'll let you know.

Wonder if it is in a diesel and if you are not pulling weight you can skip gears. :P

Maybe Russian Made! :D

Update: he says its a tractor. Does this help?

Found that Fiat and Fuller made tractors with almost an identical shifter, but in their case the Reverse and 2nd gear are exchanged. Very weird that others would make such a strange layout of gears.

That makes some sense, tractors are often "set and forget" when it comes to gears. In other words, you aren't shifting as you drive so the "pattern" doesn't really factor in.

I never would have thought a tractor honestly, the shift gate reminds me of old Ferrari's just from memory. I haven't actually looked it up to do a true comparison. Cool find though, interesting.

Its not identical, but it reminds me of a John Deere 420 that I used to run.
