Ailing SUV to enter market

Featured Replies

The JiangLing Landwind is based off of the aging Rodeo/Passport platform. Expect it to become a chinese automakers first foray into the US SUV market! But all three have awful ratings in europe!

'Landwind?'

I can easily see many 'passing gas' jokes about this name and the SUV itself.

Anyone remember where to get the crash test pics of this thing? Those were horrible.

Is this going to be sold in the US? Talk about the wrong SUV, in the wrong time and the wrong place!

Oh thanks a lot... :P

Actually, to be honest, I don't know. Out here, they're more determined to drive Mercedes... they'll even sink to the B-Class if they have to...

If I do see one, I'll wait for the driver to get out and charge it head on with my truck and have a camcorder mounted in the cab! Should make for a good YouTube video!!!
