Is this actually on the market yet? It's based on the Holden.

I am not usually a fan of the this body style of the Holden, but I like this car, expecially the rear view of it.
I'm not sad its foreign-only. Its as much a Buick as the Sail is. Nice to see they recycled leftover NOS Catera tails...
that looks very nice can a get one in black with a red pinstripe down the side? They dont desrve it i want it bring it over here!!!!
A few tweeks and it would make a great stateside product.

Don't you remember Harley?

I posted pics of this car from the GM press releases for 2005. We got the LeCrosse,--double-cross,
instead of this!

Ok...I forgot about that, yes you are right rkm. This is a really nice car, I have to admit. I have seen other versions of this car as well. I'll get some photos of those.
If the Royaum came over to the US instead of Buick receiving the Lucerne, it would have been torn apart. It's beautiful to look at, but the styling and proportions are outdated compared to the Chrysler LX sedans. The VT platform and Lucerne's G-Platform are about the same age as well. At least the Lucerne caters to a different market altogether. It doesn't make a half-way attempt to compete against the LX vehicles. (The lucerne is also less expensive than this vehicle could have ever been imported and sold here for.) Go back and reread some GTO reviews and just change it to Buick. The media would rip it apart (not to mention several GM fans here.) If Buick gets a RWD sedan in the US, pray for it to be on Sigma or Zeta.
Nothing about the styling really says Buick... it would make a nice Chevy Caprice, though...(i.e. like in the Middle East)

Most of the interior is pretty good, except for the radio controls and awkward-looking steering wheel. I like the silver and wood accents, though.

That interior looks good. I would prefer Buick builds an all American Buick, but if all else failed, this is a very nice car and not completely un-Buick.

Are you kidding? That radio loks sexy, as does the whole center stack.

Yeah, I hate that wheel in the GTO, and hate it here too.
