Found this on CNN's web site. Never thought this would be the first Chinese owned vehicle sold (and built) in the USA!

Duplicate post..I posted the same article (from Reuters) 4 min ago in the Asian Marques.. :)

"Rover" will not be built in Oklahoma. "Rover" is a name owned by BMW and apparently licensed by SAIC of China. Nanjing owns the MG name.

Lol, sorry. I was having a hard time deciding where to put the topic (Europe or Asia). That is where those 4 minutes went. I guess it is a sign of the times when a person has to actually think what country to put MG in!

Yeah, I thought Asia since Nanjing is a Chinese company...the MG brand was British brand, though..

Interesting times we live in..cars with a British brand, formerly owned by a German company, may be built in the US by a Chinese company.
