July 12, 200619 yr So the other day while bored but stuck at home in the rain I found this horrible flick "Snake Eater" on OnDemand. I watched it (unfortunately) and I can honestly say it's one of the cheesiest movies of all time. Absolutely horrible like a bad train wreck: it's terrible but you can't look away. It stars that great acting ledgend Lorenzo Lama(s) & some dude who looks like a stunt double for Kenny Rodgers. (or Will Sasso as K.R. on MadTV) To make matters worse I just found out there's a made for TV Miami Vice movie hitting theatres soon, Jamie Foxx is not even a bad actor, in silly comedies but not in a M.V. remake. Miami Vice is two things: a white 1985? Testarossa (with the F12) & Don Johnson. He's still alive for Christ's sake, remaking a 1930s movie or a show from the 1960s is bad enough but this is getting pretty damn reee-diculous. Edited July 12, 200619 yr by Sixty8panther
July 12, 200619 yr Author Thanks Y.D., you just spoke the words on the Internet which means it's now inevitable.
July 12, 200619 yr I'd love to see a movie where Mr. Rogers goes on a rampage in the Neighborhood because someone made fun of his cardigan collection or something.
July 13, 200619 yr Author How about we find out about erotic asphyxiation and the proper way to solicit a crack whore in a made for TV Sesame Street movie, the Count can explain the dangers of sucking blood with today's era of HIV & Mr. Snufalupagus talks about the many fasceted risks of huffing Cheese Whip.
July 13, 200619 yr I actuly enjoyed MacGyver. Seriously. Bt a another cheasy movie is called Airport from the 70's.
July 13, 200619 yr Author MacGyver was a fun show... Airport was a cheesy movie but it was supposed to be a cheesy movie, but this Snake Eater was attempting to be serious, in a really sad stupid way.
July 13, 200619 yr MacGyver was good - as an 80's TV show. However, it should NOT come back. In any form.
July 13, 200619 yr Did anyone ever notice that in the first Stargate SG1 episode, they mentioned having problems with the Stargate and had to 'MacGyver it?" I do agree that Airport (and its sequels) were cheesy but they did eventually lead that classic, AIRPLANE!
July 13, 200619 yr Yeah, me and the wife both like Stargate SG1, although I don't like it as much now that they've changed casts.
July 13, 200619 yr My nomination for chessiest movie: The Pirate Movie (1982), starring Khristy McNichol, Christopher Atkins and Ted Hamilton. I have to say though I saw this movie when it was NEW back in '82 (I had to be 7 years old at the time) and loved it ever since. Cheesy? Sure. Waste of a good 98 minutes? Depends. But I found it on eBay about 5 years ago (VHS) and watch every so often. Now it's on DVD if you too loved this cheesy movie or if you want to love it!!!
July 14, 200619 yr Uh... I guess the graphic artists couldn't tell who was who? Hey... Christopher's on the left... duh. He was such a beautiful guy then, I wonder what he looks like now. And Kristy... cute, but she couldn't hide her inner lesbian for long. I wonder where she is now.
July 14, 200619 yr Well Ocn, just for you (since you were the only one to reply about my cheesy movie nomination!): (that pic is from this past May, according to IMDB.com) Doesn't seem as time has been kind to Christopher! As for Khristy, it seems as if she did some voice-over work in '97 & '98 and then disappeared from Hollywood all together. I'm curious where she's at too. Edited July 14, 200619 yr by GMTruckGuy74
