July 13, 200619 yr This vehicle sold for $89,842 in the early 1990s it had a standard 300HP LT1 V8 from Chevrolet teamed to either a ZF six-speed manual or a 4-speed auto. Name the car.
July 13, 200619 yr My first instinct was a ZR1 Corvette, but that is too much money. A Lingenfelter Vette, maybe?
July 13, 200619 yr I can rule the ZR one out becuase it had a DOHC 5.7L engine, so no LT1 there....hmmm, I dunno on this one, unless we are talking Lingenfelter.
July 15, 200619 yr A 1991 Turnip Special. No. And how sad is it that I forgot the ZR1 didnt have the LT1. I should be ashamed. Havent thought about a ZR1 in years.

July 15, 200619 yr Author 1993 Excalibur Series III Limited Edition 100 Roadster It was made possible after the father-son team of Udo & Jens Geitlinger saved Excalibur from bankruptcy in 1992 and they picked up where another German, Michael Timmer had left off. It included a few modern updates in terms of safety & emissions. Even a driver's side airbag.

July 15, 200619 yr Yuck. Those things have always turned me off. There is a ZR1 for sale around here though...
July 16, 200619 yr Author Yes the Excaliburs never quite looked right. Kind of like putting baby moons & flames on a '89 Camaro.
