July 19, 200619 yr Hi there, I'm a nOOb surfing in from google. I'd like to hear from C&G folk about my latest review, a Toyota Camry. http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/?p=1826 I also road tested the Lucerne and LaCrosse, as those in the Buick Forum saw. You guys have a great forum here.
July 19, 200619 yr The Camry’s wheel-mounted buttonology is welcome, but gives mixed messages. The left side implies "you're stupid" (with four words to describe a single button) while the right proclaims "you're cheap" (with a non-functional plastic plug). Thank you. You don't know how weird and annoying it is to get into a relatively loaded car only to be met with clutter on one side and a deadplate on the other.
July 21, 200619 yr Thank you. You don't know how weird and annoying it is to get into a relatively loaded car only to be met with clutter on one side and a deadplate on the other. 168746[/snapback] cmon fly, post that clock radio pic again. i think kohl's is selling them on the 'lowest prices of the season' this week again
July 21, 200619 yr Despite Toyota’s “when does a car become more than a car” zenvertising, Camry folk treat their rides like a household appliance Yes, those ads were a bit desperate. The automobile that once defined mid-market inoffensiveness now pays lip service to high priced sports sedan standards– like Kenny G dorking-up a John Coltrane classic. The Camry’s new schnoz says Mazda 6- albeit an older, overweight version with multiple neoplastic lesions. Awsome and so very true!
July 21, 200619 yr Wait... the whole stereo unit glows turquoise or just the lettering? (I'm just curious). Wow... I'm surprised about such a poor review... I would have thought that the writer would have found more positive aspects like many other reviewers tend to.
July 21, 200619 yr interesting read... wow "manny" sounds sooooo smart lol just read this one, i'd say it sounded pretty fair w/o going into exruciating detail... and all the "facts" can be easily found elsewhere, so they're not really needed.
