It's getting pretty good at the game, as evidenced by the outstanding latest version of the 3 Series, which debuted as a 2006 model in "E90" sedan form only. As in previous generations, the coupe version is released just when the panting over the sedan has subsided. With the 2007 BMW 335i Coupe, the second-stage booster of the 3 Series family is alight, hurtling the 3 Series along its intended path with renewed thrust. July 21, 200619 yr I'm kind of excited about this car...I'm starting to like it a bit more...Especially the engine. I can't wait to see what some boltons and a tune will do to it. The aftermarket for that car should be insane (price wise as well I;]m sure)... I also like the idea of a 2+2. I really had no idea it was going to be configured that way. Though, I'd like to get a better shot of the rear seats.
July 21, 200619 yr Wow... this is the first 3 series I'm not that impressed by (look-wise). I think I liked the sedan better, but off the top of my head, I'm having trouble recalling what it looked like.

The 2-doors and convertibles have historically followed the introduction of the sedans by about a year or so.
July 22, 200619 yr Interesting: that's the very criticism leveled at GM on numerous occasions: 'release everything at launch and hope consumer interest is held the 5 years until the NG'.
