July 23, 200619 yr Well I finally got a chance to take some pictures of my new 9-5. It's a 2001 Aero model with accessory wheels and performance exhaust. It took me about 15 minutes in a big parking lot to get the hang of the standard shift, but after that it clicked and I no longer fear rolling backwards 200ft into a ditch on every hill. I think the Blue Aero paint and tan leather interior go together very nicely, and the wheels are much better than the hideous 3-spoke triangular things that come standard. Here are pics fresh off the memory card:

July 24, 200619 yr Very nice, control. I wonder if anyone makes a sticker with Calvin peeing on Volvo? He pees on everything else...

It's mainly there to look cool and provide a deeper exhaust note. The Night Panel button is cool: at night you press it and all the dash lights turn off or dim except for the speedo. It's designed to be used if you're just cruising on the highway.
July 24, 200619 yr i think you should tuck that tip in better it looks like a tail bleh . . . hot car tho very classy . . . it reminds me of the early 90's infiniti interiors
July 24, 200619 yr Nice car, congrats! I really like the "Night Panel" feature, and I wish GM would use it in its other makes.
