July 24, 200619 yr What are some guilty pleasures you're not ashamed to admit? For me, I'm not ashamed to admit that, although I consider myself a "Rear-drive first, front-drive last" enthusiast, there are some front-drive cars that make me stop and pay attention. A brief list would look like... -1966 Olds Toronado and 1990 Olds Trofeo -1994 Olds Aurora -1998 Olds Intrigue -2005 Chevrolet Cobalt -2005 Mazda 3 -1998 Buick Regal GS -2006 Ford Fusion Edited July 25, 200619 yr by YellowJacket894
July 25, 200619 yr What are some guilty pleasures you're not ashamed to admit? -1998 Olds Intrigue 170751 DITTO. DITTO. DITTO. I love that car and primarily that year...because of the engine. However, I thought the thread was about vices. If that's also allowed, then my guilty pleasure/vice is: TRAVEL Period.
July 25, 200619 yr Cobalt SS Supercharged. Even though I am pro RWD, I do have a thing for that car and I don't think I should be guilty about it. Edited July 25, 200619 yr by Captainbooyah
July 25, 200619 yr FWD burnouts... There's just something intriguing about the front wheels spinning endlessly, while you can feel everything through the steering wheel. Long John Silver's hushpuppies... God, they're good. I love sleeping nude. Clothes just won't work. Does that count as a quilty pleasure?
July 25, 200619 yr FWD burnouts any '93+ Olds Cutlass Supreme Convertible (or coupe w/the 5-spoke rims) current Grand Caravan SXT w/Stow n' Go '86 Olds 98 Touring Sedan late 90s Lexus SC400-the only Lexus I think I'd consider last-gen Infiniti M45-the best-looking car to roll out of Japan cars in general-I'm the only car guy on my bus or in my neighborhood under 20. and everything YJ said, plus the '67 Eldorado
July 25, 200619 yr Okay..... DON'T YELL AT ME OR HURT ME, but....... LS460... and here's the biggest crime of all: Ragu
July 25, 200619 yr that BMW isnt guilty pleasure everyone has a place in their hearts for those cars . . . no matter what they say my guilty pleasure . . . my love for the new tiburan and the new suzuki firenza
July 25, 200619 yr My list: Chevy HHR... Hated it from the photos.. driven one at night and loved it's interior.. that freakin light in the ceiling that lights up the dash at night is so cool. I don't know why. VW Golf.... the new one. Something about it looks cool. Though, I'll never own one because it's most likely a piece of crap that will be in the shop most of the time getting repairs. Infiniti G35 sedan and coupe. just cool to look at and from what I've heard, really fun to drive.
July 25, 200619 yr The very last gen Aurora and the style before that. The last Eldorado. Toyota 4Runner.
July 25, 200619 yr FWD sucks any way you cut it but a 1959-1974-ish Austin/Rover Mini (Cooper) is a great ride that takes advantege of every millimeter of space afforded by it's quirky transverse mounted motor & trans. Also a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado "Razorback" has tempted me before, what a sexy b1tch. Other guilty pleasures? Burning rubber ...& once in a blue moon other things.
July 25, 200619 yr -2006 Ford FusionThey're sexy cars. The S/SE in black or red look great the SEL is quite sharp too, but the extra chrome around the fog lights and above the license plate make it seem a little "softer" a bit.
July 25, 200619 yr Asian chicks Primarily Japanese, because they tend to have softer facial features. The current Ford Mustang GT. At first, I didn't like it, but scarily found myself warming up to it. Please forgive me Bob. chocolatechocolatechocolatechocolate..... and most surprisingly--please don't laugh--Danny Phantom. It's a cool show, hard to believe its a cartoon meant for young teenagers. Edited July 25, 200619 yr by Turbojett
July 25, 200619 yr I can't get enough of 40 oz Pepsi Slurpees. Even durring the winter. I ussualy get em from this dodgy fellow:
July 25, 200619 yr ...and making fun of stupid people. I'll admit to that. I'm not ashamed. Remember this recently from the Silverado thread? When I do it, I usually go all out. I can't get enough of 40 oz Pepsi Slurpees. Even durring the winter. I usually get em from this dodgy fellow: :rotflmao: "I won't lie to you. On this job, you will be shot at."

July 25, 200619 yr Does the dude who sells you frozen beverages have a dialysis machine strapped to his hip? How could I forget Chocolate? Although the closest we can get to the high end quality cocoa-crack here in the USA is Lindt. Lindt is great but I miss the variety & qualityn of inexpensive chocolates back in Europe. A local Stop & Shop here carries Aero once in a blue moon.

August 2, 200619 yr dude. Gira-f@#king-dheli. 174786 I give Lindt a solid A, most of the cocolate at Trader Joes rates B+ to B- but I honestly give Ghiradheli like a C+. Like I said, I'm picky. Super-rich milk cocolate is where it's at, with hazlenuts preferebaly or dark chocolate with raspberrys.
August 3, 200619 yr I've never had any of the "high-end quality cocoa-crack" that Sixty8 talks about, so Hershey's is plenty good for me. Sour cream & onion potato chips, pizza, subs, nectarines, and cherries are some of my life-long addictions aside from cars. What could be better than good food and hot cars?
August 3, 200619 yr Peanut M&M's and Old Dutch (Candian Brand) Salt and Vinegar chips... Gotta love that MSG.
August 3, 200619 yr oreos. oooooh yeah. addiction defined. the creme is my favorite part, but i think the THC is really in the chocolate cookies itself. Edited August 3, 200619 yr by Turbojett
August 3, 200619 yr 1. VW Type 2 [the bus] 2. Hatchback's and Wagon's 3. Moxie Soda 4. Oldsmobile 88's 5. Band Class

August 6, 200619 yr Japanese Food Not really a guilty pleasure since it's healthy but since I despise most Japanese cars it seems I have to give the disclaimer. Seriously I think Japanese cars are mostly cr@p but certain Japanese FOOD is awsome. Susji esp. Farkas: How about Oldsmobile SUPER 88s?

Seriously I think Japanese cars are mostly cr@p but certain Japanese FOOD is awsome. Susji esp. Farkas: How about Oldsmobile SUPER 88s? 176517 Japanese food is great. I love sushi, I like teriyaki steak, and stir fry, and all that.about the only Japanese food I don't like is tofu, or anything made with it. But other oriental foods, like Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and all that are... Japanese just tastes different. Edited August 6, 200619 yr by Turbojett
August 6, 200619 yr Italian food, Gm products of all kinds. More specificlly though the 1977-90 B-bodies. Women(Just wish they would pay attention to me for once in my life. I hate always being ignored). Doritos,Nacho cheese. Used to live on Pepsi but cant anymore with having borderline diabetes. Oh well I have gotten quite used to filtered water since I really dont like diet soda. Also there is something about Culvers double cheeseburgers that is just soo good. Broasted chicken from the Darboy Club or Romys Nightengale or Marys Family Restauraunt is another of my guilty pleasures. Edited August 6, 200619 yr by 2005 EquinoxLS
