July 25, 200619 yr So, we'll start this 4 months early... What are you hoping for/expecting to come around this next autoshow season? I'm hoping for the following... GM: Camaro production (or convertible), Impala concept, GTO concept (I want to see at least two Zetas + Camaro) Ford: Mercury Cougar on Mustang platform DC: 2008 Viper Mazda: RX8/RX7 successor Toyota: RWD Sportscar (Supra?) Mitsubishi: EVO X Nissan: 350Z redesign and/or Skyline production That's pretty much all I'm asking for, and I have a feeling most of these will happen. *Note: I didn't include trucks, SUVs, etc. simply because I could care less. The above are what I personally hope for. Edited July 25, 200619 yr by NOS2006
July 25, 200619 yr Here are my thoughts on what we will see between LA, Detroit, Chicago, and NY GM: RWD Cars: Camaro production, production Impala, Buick Statesman, Pontiac RWD VE Sedan, NG Caddy CTS. Trucks: Colorado SS, Canyon Denali, GMT900 Hummer SUV or pickup (both are supposed to be coming). Ford: Mercury Cougar on DC2, production version of the Metaone concept, Ford B-segment concepts (more than 1), Lincoln DC2 sedan, Jaguar X-type concept or production model. DC: 2008 Viper vert, Dodge Avenger, NG Minivans, sedan version of Dodge Caliber. Toyota: Lexus IS500 Those are what I am pretty sure will be shown. 171202
July 25, 200619 yr I really hope to see some of these... GM : I pray to God that they display a Zeta that we haven't already seen. I don't care which brand it is, just as long as it's a Zeta. The new Malibu, a prototype Uplander successor, Cadillac ULS prototype, and something new for Pontiac. Ford : Refreshed D3 cars, new Focus, production-spec Lincoln MKS, and something new for Mercury. DCX : the new minivans, new Viper, and new C-class. BMW : M3 convertible! VW : R32, VW minivan, something cool from another VW brand. Nissan : Skyline
July 25, 200619 yr Author They're releasing a Caliber sedan? 171227 I don't think it'll be a Caliber sedan per se, but a different model... a true Neon replacement/successor by a different name (I heard rumors of "Demon" awhile back).
