July 27, 200619 yr I'm getting a new cell phone. Early yesterday I won the eBay auction I've been bugging you guys about. The phone in question is a Boost Mobile i875. It has features that I'll probably never use like Bluetooth® and GPS, and features I've grown to love like nationwide walkie-talkie (I really can't live without my bleep). Plus it plays MP3s. Thanks to eBay, I got the phone for half of what it retails for. It's brand-new in the original packaging and even comes with a free car-charger. I'm psyched. More importantly, it's replacing my old i850 which is beat to $h!. My current phone has quite a few miles (or minutes) under it's belt, and the antenna broke off last week. It was time for a change. Luckily, the seller is located in Brooklyn, so delivery will be quick. UPS.com has it listed as in transit and on time and set for arrival tommorow. I tend to keep my phones for long periods of time, so it'll be around for a while if all goes well.
July 27, 200619 yr good for you dude. I wish that I could keep my phones working for more that 8-10 months, but they never do...I always manage to run over it or drop it too many times, or most recently (last week) go tubing down a river with it (also took my wallet tubing with me and lost my oakleys; fun day despite it all). Ebay has been my best friend becuase of this, but I usually just buy a cheap one (like $50...done it a few times now) as long as I can put my numbers in it i don't care about anything else really. Well anyway, I hope the new phone treats you well!
July 27, 200619 yr Cool phone It also makes me realize that I am the only person left on North America who DOESN'T have a phone. There are six year old girls running around with them for chrissake...
