July 27, 200619 yr Spied: 2008 Nissan Armada For 2007, Nissan already announced a power increase and optional flex fuel capability for the 5.6-liter V8 so we don't expect any big changes under the hood. We did, however, manage to get an interior shot which shows several upgrades to the cabin. The center stack is all-new with an integrated navigation screen and some switchgear borrowed from Infiniti. The climate and radio controls have swapped spots and the vents have been moved up a little. Twin analog dials now dominate the gauge cluster in place of the current model's setup which gives you a big central speedo with the rest of auxiliary gauges sprinkled on each side. It appears as though the quality of the materials have been bumped up a notch as well. Read "Spy photos: 2008 Nissan Armada" @ Edmunds Straighline
July 27, 200619 yr Fix the rear handle already! Otherwise, not too shabby... Edited July 27, 200619 yr by mustang84
July 28, 200619 yr The interior is now 'acceptable', though that three-spoke blows in a capital fashion and the exterior is still ugly as sin. I will actually accept the rear door handle the way it is on the Armada since its an offshoot of the Pathfinder (remember Pathfinder Armada?), but not on the QX56.
July 28, 200619 yr Looks like they had two teams of designers working on this, and they didn't collaborate that well.
July 28, 200619 yr You know, it occurs to me that I've seen perhaps two of these things on the road in the, what, 2 or 3 years they've been on the market?
July 28, 200619 yr The Armada is a bit chunky for my tastes, but I like the front revisions and the interior is very much improved in the styling department.
July 28, 200619 yr Wow.. that interior is a lot better. Looks like Nissan is finally working on it's quality issues. Well.. asthetically speaking.
July 28, 200619 yr The exterior is still ugly, but at least the interior looks good now, if not as good as the T900s.
July 28, 200619 yr Author I have a felling the 2007 Armadas (and maybe Titans) are going to be abbreviated model years and the 2008 Titans and Armadas will be released soon after the year 2007 rolls around (much in the same way as the 2004 MY Altima was a shorter run to make way for the refreshed 2005 MY Altima).
July 28, 200619 yr The updated interior looks good but not as awesome as the GMT900 SUVs. The silver painted plastic is not that great so I hope some good looking wood/plood is available.
July 29, 200619 yr Seriously, will Japan EVER learn how to make a good looking full-size SUV? Looks like the GMT900 sales are safe. Edited July 29, 200619 yr by deftonesfan867
July 29, 200619 yr new interior is ok, but its too importish looking for truckers. it also doesn't fix that the rest of the truck is still ugly as hell and is built like a loose bucket of bolts.
August 1, 200619 yr I will actually accept the rear door handle the way it is on the Armada since its an offshoot of the Pathfinder (remember Pathfinder Armada?), but not on the QX56. 172306 I completely agree with you there...
August 2, 200619 yr Author Looks the same. Boring, very japanese-ish 174237 If you say so... It's more interestng than the Sequoia, IMO.
August 2, 200619 yr If you say so... It's more interestng than the Sequoia, IMO. 174660 This guy looks pretty "interesting," too... Just kidding. I really wanted to use that pic.

August 2, 200619 yr This guy looks pretty "interesting," too... 174700 I wonder what that dude's opinion of the armada is? ....he's got a very trusting look in his eye.
August 4, 200619 yr This, and the Titan, have sold way below expectations, some fault has been given to the strange styling that some love, others hate. You know, it occurs to me that I've seen perhaps two of these things on the road in the, what, 2 or 3 years they've been on the market? 172368
