July 28, 200619 yr Finals next week, still no intention to study. I tried a bit yesterday, but it only lasted for 2 hours. Anyone in the same situation as me, or feels this way often?
July 28, 200619 yr I felt like that ALL through undergrad... everytime finals approached, I didn't want to do a thing... I was spent. In grad school, it was completely different.. I never had a chance to slow down, between going to school full time and working full time, things just had to be done as soon as I got them.
July 28, 200619 yr I'll tell you what my economics professor told my class. "Procrastination is like masturbation... because all you are doing is yourself." Probably thought up by Aristotle or Shakespeare or something.
July 29, 200619 yr You know, in college, I came up with this word, a play on the word "procrastination." It wasn't so much that we all procrastinated... it was more that we "coprastinated"; we looked for each other to help coprastinate... especially with playing cards.
July 29, 200619 yr Oh, sorry, I didn't read this thread until now. I did my best schoolwork between 11 and 12 the night before it was due.
July 29, 200619 yr Author See, the problem is, I know the urgency at hand. But I just don't have the urge to actually get my a$$ on studying. Maybe I'm just so sick of school work already. My work term and vacation back to Hong Kong just can't come soon enough.
