GM truck plant in Ft. Wayne Indiana

Featured Replies

Is the public allowed to tour the GM truck assembly factory in Ft. Wayne Indiana?

Highly unlikely these days, given what they are about to start producing. You may need to wait awhile.

How would you go about touring a plant? Do you just show up, or do you need to make an appointment of some type first? I have always wanted to visit the arlington, TX plant.

Most factories have Visitor Centers. Find the phone number for that, call, and set it up. A factory that is getting ready for, in the middle of, or has just finished a retooling probably won't do tours for the regular public, though.

Saturn used to have a way to make an appointment for a tour on their website. That's how I set one up back in '02. I don't think they have that anymore, though, but they probably still do tours.
