Chevy Stealership

Featured Replies

I've heard about crap that like. Apparently this has been happening for the longest time, just no one has had the balls big enough to report it. I'm from Montgomery where there isn't a Bill Heard stealership, but there is one about an hour north of me in Birmingham, I might go piss on a few cars tomorrow on my day off just for $h!s and giggles. That's completely wrong, if the salesguy sold the ride for less than what was needed for it, then its his fault, and should be his ass out on the street the next day. If I sign a contract with someone that this is MY vehicle and I'm making payments on it, or paying cash, then they can kiss my fat white ass.

Maybe it's time the people exercised a little capitalism and took their money elsewhere.

What a load of bull$h!. How can a company survive with such poor customer service. It's not as if it's a way to keep customers coming or having them recommend the dealer to friends.

that's just it, from what I've heard, its only the dealer$h!s in Alabama and TN that's getting the bad press. The rest of them aren't having problems like that, at least not ones that are reported.

Read about this over at Chirpthird, this dealer is pure scum. Chevy should come down hard on him for giving them a black eye.

I agree he is pure scum, but I keep seeing vehicles with his badges all over the place down here. Now I admit that most of them are trucks and vans that could very well be fleeted vehicles, but you're right. He is scum and should be come down on, and hard.

I was once thinking about going to one and just looking around, then I heard about stories like this a while back, did a little digging and found more stories, so I decided, "nope, not gonna do it"

Wow... I thought Commonwealth Motors was bad.

We got a great deal on our Escape because the Sales Manager quoted us an initial price that included 0% financing AND the $1,000 down payment match. When he realized his mistake he KNEW we wouldn't take it (the payment went from $395 to $430 a month) so he somehow got the payment down to $406 a month. Its too bad the finance guy was such a $h!head when we refused the extended warranty BS, or Paul Miller Ford would have made a lifelong customer.

I have heard of deals unravelling BEFORE delivery, but I've never heard of it being repossessed because a salesman and a manager screwed up.

Then again, most States allow spot deliveries and in many cases the car is in the driveway the same day. Not so up here: it is usually 2-3 business days before the customer takes delivery. Plenty of time to realize mistakes on both sides.

The forum's retaliation tactics are quite hylarious.

It all starts with this e-mail to their dealership sales agent:

First: Randy Last: Savage

Hi.

I'm looking for a 2000 Subaru Legacy L. I would like to recieve the same deal you gave my friend Ed Keiselhorst. I would like to finance.

TTFN,

Randy

Then, it goes into IM, where you get to instantly harrass sales agents. The following is likely the most amusing:

Bill Heard Chevrolet: Thank you for choosing Bill Heard Chevrolet!

Jose Ramirez: hallo?

Katie Parker: Hello, How may I help you?

Jose Ramirez: Hablas espanol?

Katie Parker: Se

Jose Ramirez: GREAT! I was inquiring on a purchase of a 2007 Silverado

Katie Parker: Ok

Jose Ramirez: Now if i have a trade in, would you accept cash?

Katie Parker: Yes.

Jose Ramirez: And i wont get a call after its stolen demanding more money?

Katie Parker: Doing this will get you in trouble

Jose Ramirez: Its ok, i was looking into that Subaru legacy ive been hearing about. Have you taken it off any sweet jumps?

Katie Parker: This will get you into trouble

Jose Ramirez: Que?

----- disconnected

All the harrassment is usually by people looking for a Subary Legacy L. After everything they've had to endure, I'm sure they scrutinize every on-line customer. As someone on there stated, I feel sorry for the poor bastard who comes in actually looking for a Subaru Legacy.

With any luck, the hassle will waste at least 10k of salesperson time.

These twits deserve all the bad PR and hassle they get.

BTW: Have they caved yet?

Damn. I think I just got WPBHarry a date...

Bill Heard Chevrolet: Thank you for choosing Bill Heard Chevrolet!

Just so you know, this conversation was 100% real. I'm dead f-in serious. This chick is hard up or something.

GM needs to put the smackdown on this character and force him to sell his franchise.

Those Subaru guys have no mercy.

I read all the posts on those two sites and this thing is HUGE!

It's all over the internet, hopefully this felon goes to jail and the dealership group collapses. The guy with the truck is not the worst of their practices either.

Absolute and utter scum.
