August 6, 200619 yr Saturn has the MPG FOR THE 3.6 and they have it at 20/28 which is better than first thought although just a bit but still good news. stillen
August 7, 200619 yr Author Ya the 3.6 was listed at 19/27 goiong in right direction . > all this is building up to the release of the Epsilion two platform where GM cannot afford to screw it up. I don't think they will the interiors are getting better quality and design. stillen
August 8, 200619 yr That's a lot better than the G6 GTP's 18/26. More power (more weight, too) and better fuel economy is always good.
August 12, 200619 yr Still unacceptable, why should a car with a 250-ish hp v6 get that kind of mileage when my cousin can pull off 20 in the city with his 300 hp 350Z? The 19/27 it used to be is also terrible, might as well put the vette engine in everything, even that gets 27 mpg highway. Gm should invest some freaking money into thier v6's for once. That means the pushrods too. The OHV's have a lot of potential, generally they need more displacement to get the same power outputs, but that doesnt always mean they have to sacrafice efficiency, though often they do.
