My cousin was driving us back from a movie in their Taurus when an old lady pulled up beside us in a 98 Camry on the highway. My cousin for fun decided to hit the gas to try to pass her a bit and see if she would race. Then she nails her gas and she flew by us like we were standing still and we were doing 80. In a couple minutes we couldn't even see her. Funny thing was both cars had handicapped license plates.

It was weird. It was a 4 cylinder model too. My cousin feels embarrassed about it. He wasn't embarassed by his friend beating him in his 81 Camaro.

the taurus's were screaming metal death buckets . . . slow and twisted . . . those camrys were well made and the 4 cylinder is a great engine . . . i van beat a V8 mustang no problem in my sisters V6 camry (with overdrive for each gear) im not suprised but ive never been beaten
