Peugeot 908 RC

Featured Replies

This is an interesting, dynamic new concept from Peugeot. The 908 RC. I like the roof sail panels...wish GM would bring those back. To me, this car has an almost American look to it......they way American cars used to be designed.

I would have to agree... which is weird coming for Peugeot...

IMO, the rear and sides are sexy but the front is hideous.

Front's gotta go. The rest is very very nice.

Edit: Looks like it is mid-engined.

I have to agree, the front looks a bit heavy handed while the rest is quite appealing. This car is quite a departure for Peugeot.

For the most part (sans a few tweaks), I like it.

All Peugeots as of late have that hideously huge smiley face grille opening. Its time had gone before it arrived. The A-pillar also needs a lot more rearward sweep, especially because of the chrome trimming, which makes the entire greenhouse looks...odd. I understand that is the result of wraparound glass, but there must be some way to deal with it.

I like it! It does look very American, almost where Lincoln should be headed (?). I agree with Fly about the A-pillar. And yeah, I even like the front end, mainly because it's different, in a Bugs Bunny sort of way.

The G6 sedan could use flying buttresses....just not as long as those.

Is this a joint venture with Porsche or something? Barring the Pug front end, I get a Porsche vibe from it.
