August 14, 200619 yr so, seeing those two posts like that in order just tickled your every fancy, eh?
August 14, 200619 yr Its like I said before, if I could find a way to twist the 3.8L V6 in my Impala longitudinally and stuff a V8 in there after that, I would in an instant.
August 14, 200619 yr I'm sure a rear-drive conversion could be done (with lots of money and free time). There is, after all, a big useless hump in the rear passenger footwell. Hell, if someone could make a kit to do that, they could cash in on it.
August 14, 200619 yr I've been thinkikng about it, but if I did, then the exhuast would have nowhere to really route without some modifications. In stock form, my Impala's exhaust actually routes down the "transmission tunnel".
August 14, 200619 yr Here's one right now: Well, Someone's Finally Done It... British thwart plot to blow up jet

August 14, 200619 yr straight pipes would work, but my only fear would be the car's already low riding height....wouldn't want to damage all that exhaust by dragging pipes along the ground, you know? OH well, I guess I'd just have to go with straight headers and nothing else....
August 14, 200619 yr haha YJ, you've got far too much time on your hands. 179944[/snapback] No job, no car (just one I borrow)...what do you expect?

August 16, 200619 yr Oh, I'm sure its do-able, I just don't have the time, nor money to even attempt at the conversion.
