August 14, 200619 yr I don't know if this was posted before, but here's the new MINI (these are not spy pics). click here Interior materials appear to be better. If the power window problems go away, I'm staying with the brand. Edited August 14, 200619 yr by ZL-1
August 15, 200619 yr Not sure that I like the new headlights, but I still love the car. If only they had reasonable room for a baby and a bunch of kid stuff.
August 15, 200619 yr There has only been one Mini so, like the Beetle, you cant really redesign it, just tamper with it a little or risk alienating the buyers. Cars like the Mustang and future Camaro will be more interesting because both have quite a bit of history, styling wise, and both have historically been quite different looking from generation to generation, so the question to ask there is what will they do? Will the next gen Mustang or Camaro continue with the retro looks and just be updated or will they make a drastic departure from the current models into more futuristic designs? Cars like the HHR and PT Cruiser can go either way because they're a blank slate. Neither has a name attached to anything from back in the day so the designers can be creative. Even with a name meaning Heritage High Roof, the HHR can be redesigned with non-retro lines.
August 15, 200619 yr The interior looks like it was designed by Fisher Price, but then again, so does the exterior. Other than it driving like a go-kart, I still cannot find the allure of this vehicle looks-wise. To each their own.
August 15, 200619 yr Damn, what a sweet little guy. I love it. The interior is a nice update over the current car, and the exterior looks a bit more... professional. I'd own one, easily.
August 15, 200619 yr I was over the MINI about six months after it came out. I could never, ever drive a car that miniscule.
August 15, 200619 yr The exterior is cool (as usual) but the interior...wow. I think it looks more Fisher Price than any GM vehicle has. I'm really looking forward to the other MINI versions.
August 15, 200619 yr The differences are subtle but they make the car look better. I've always liked the new, though my girlfriend hates them.
August 16, 200619 yr Not sure that I like the new headlights, but I still love the car. If only they had reasonable room for a baby and a bunch of kid stuff. 180511 just give in now! You will be assimilated......this is YOUR mini now....... the sliding doors are wonders for saving your back. strollers really devour a trunk. LOL....j/k
August 16, 200619 yr Eh... not bad, but I like the current one better. Still an awesome looking little thing, though. I love it.
August 31, 200619 yr Not sure that I like the new headlights, but I still love the car. If only they had reasonable room for a baby and a bunch of kid stuff. 180511 totally agree! i love the car but it's not practical enough for me and a new family
September 4, 200619 yr Author totally agree! i love the car but it's not practical enough for me and a new family 187564 That's not this car's purpose. Minis are meant to be a car you have fun with. Nothing more, nothing less.
