Gaydar is definitely for real, my friend Xiamara is NEVER wrong...kinda scary actually. Mine is pretty good for a hetero I guess...used to be almost nonexistant until I started hanging out with Xixi a lot, and when she'd call it out I just started noticing things. From my life experience, anyone who's observant and a "people watcher" can have good gaydar, you just have to notice things and subconciously classify things and extrapolate trends.

Yeah, I'm a open minded guy and in the same boat. Because of my consrvative upbringing I used to be a little homophobic. Then in College I made a few gay friends and realised there;s nothing to be "afraid" of.

My G/F Marcia has a lot of gay frineds so when we strted dating she dragged me to a couple gay clubs a few times. I would cling to her because if I didn't have her around I'd get hit on. There's this one weirdo nicknamed "Mr.Bean" who frequents all the gay clubs. He's the spitting image of Rowan Atkins and has similar but more atypical manerism. Even this guy was trying to schmooze wiht me. :P

One time we're waiting to get in by the door and I grab a Mint out of the complementary dish while standing in line. The very efeminite and semi-creepy guy at the door (club-manager?) says in a dirty old man voice wiht a stereotypical lisp:

That was a little weird. Marcia told me he was just goofing wiht me but either way it was a bit strange coming form a guy twice my age. I was early 20s he was like 52.

I'm straight. I'm a full blown heterosexual.
Sure, I used to think females had cooties and all. I used to only hang around with guys and had fun.

When junior high came, I started not wanting to hang around my guy friends as much. I knew that however much I liked hanging around with them, I would never, ever want to throw them to the floor and nail sweet love to them.

At first I thought I was just some sort of weirdo with a naked woman fetish. For some odd reason, I always was turned on by naked women. The more naked, the better. I tried to fight it, but I was just too attracted to them. I soon started ditching all my friends just to hang out with women, with the hopes that I might be able see them naked, or, at least get uncomfortably close to them.

The sight of men has never really turned me on or made me happy. Sure, if I was in a burning building and saw a fireman come to get me out, the sight of him would make he kind of happy, but that's it. When the other guys were flinging their sweaty bodies onto the mats during wrestling or sliding naked across the floor of the showers after a meet, I was never the least bit aroused. In fact, I kind of wanted to get the heck out of there.

Sure, I have been chastised for not being gay in this time when everyone else is, but I guess that's just something I'm going to have to live with. Until the day that I can publicy proclaim my straightness without fear of retribution, I'll just have to keep dressing colorfully, bathing regularly and pretending to be cultured.
