GM's Oshawa Camaro Announcement

Featured Replies

It's official, GM announced the return of the Camaro. You can read the aritcle for more details. The summary is a $740M investment and the Camaro "rolls off the line in 2008". That'd be a year early, no?

Production is supposed to start in late 2008 with sales starting in early 2009.

Missed that, thanks! Too much to read too little time, I suppose.

No mention of other Zeta cars, just the Camaro.

Yes, but GM has not confirmed them yet.

2008? The sooner the better! GM has the ability to speed up the process. Case in point....Tahoe, Trucks.....come on, lets not be late to the party again.

Great news! Glad Oshawa got the Camaro and will become a Flex manufacturing plant. I stopped by there yesterday on my way back from the dream cruise. The place is a city in itself.
