I thought this was hilarious. I am indeed a Mopar guy, probably more than a GM guy but I have switched back and forth many times. I have a passion for both companies very much. This was on a 409 in a 59 Bel Air, correct me if I am wrong with the year. The 409 is probably one of my favourite engines other than the HEMI or 572. This was from the GM Heritage Center where a couple of employees' cars were shown. Here are the pics.

Usually I don't quite "get" Sixty8's obsession with hardtops, but something about the shape of the greenhouse on that one just looks good with both windows down.

thing is blown out of proportion and has become a marketing

gimick that is repeated by 6-13 year old kids.

You might like the Cadillacs that preceded the '58 Chevy with

this same basic greenhouse shape.

Or how about a 1965 Impala 2dr with the 60-4 AC going on?

409s are cool looking with the valve covers, my buddy had one he put in a 56 Chevy that he eventually sold.

The GMC heavy truck V6's had a similar look, largest being a 478, which I have and can attest to its reliability and rugged duty service.
