I like how they went so far as to tape a Chevy badge on the GMC. I couldn't figure out what the hell they did to the Tahoe to make it look like that, and then I read the article and was like, "Duh!"

I like the grill on the Tahoe, though.

That Tahoe is a hybrid. Look at how it matches the concept from the autoshow. They both have slighly different grilles, slab sides, and even the same rims on the tires.

I can't begin to understand why they would put a Chevy badge on a Yukon but you can tell that it's a Hybrid when looking at the sides. Also, the grille is much larger then the current model and much closer in shape to the GMC concepts that we've seen over the past few years. So, it could also be a design refresh.

you are all going to hate me - but I love the wheels on the Tahoe. These are really nice trucks - if you have not driven one - go do it. I have an 07 and tell anyone I can to buy one. They are phenominal.

Also, the lack of the roof rack makes me think hybrids. For aerodynamic improvements, the roof racks will be deleted on production hybrids.

The GMC DOES look better than the standard ones, grill makes it look less wimpy, but I'd still take a Tahoe first.

Yeah, this hybrid Yukon looks so much better. The regular one is all wide-eyed and smiling like a stupid bastard lol. However, with the tape on its headlights, it reminds me of a Ford for some reason..

they are probably doing this to test a tahoe with a 6.2 or afm on the 6.2... or hybrid with the 6.2...

whatever... i imagine there is some part of the Yukon that is kept with that concept... if thats what it is...

good question! however, lutz or someone did say the grilles on the GMT-900 hybrids would have to be MUCH larger to cool the batteries, etc
