August 24, 200619 yr He's been suffering with terminal cancer for some time now and tomorrow the hospice care begins. It's going to be a rough time around here for a while and I may not be here so often. I have lots of things to get figured out and will need to be supporting my family in whatever way I can as things progress. I will update you when it makes sense to do so. I consider you folks my friends so I felt I had to post this.

August 25, 200619 yr Wow... suddenly the Firehawk sale does not seem like a big concern when you have to deal with something this difficult. I wish I had some insight or advice but I do not. I can not say I know how you feel or whatever because I've been lucky enough to not deal with something like that. I'm very sad to hear this as I consider you a good friend. All I can say is I hope things go as well as can be expected given the horrible cinrcumstances. Let us know how you, your Dad & the family are doing from time to time. I'm not very religious but you're in my prayers so to speak.

August 25, 200619 yr Really sorry to hear..that just sucks.... I'l keep you and your family in my prayers... Just don't forget to let those emotions out once in a while. (Even if it is a good cry) It's very easy to "suck " it up and bottle it in. Letting some go will help will help feel a little more at ease and positive in a difficult time...

September 4, 200619 yr Author Just wanted to let you guys know that my dad somehow has moved a step or two back from the brink. His situation hasn't really changed, but he's been up and around a bit and present if you get what I mean. There was one night there when I was sure none of that would happen again.
