My Dad

Featured Replies

He's been suffering with terminal cancer for some time now and tomorrow the hospice care begins. It's going to be a rough time around here for a while and I may not be here so often. I have lots of things to get figured out and will need to be supporting my family in whatever way I can as things progress. I will update you when it makes sense to do so.

I consider you folks my friends so I felt I had to post this.

I'm VERY sorry Camino. I wish you and your family the best of luck... may everything be peaceful.

I'm very sorry to hear that, Camino. My condolences. Best of luck to you, your father, and your entire family. Hopefully everything will come together for you soon with everything you're going through.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Camino. I hope that things get better for you, your dad, and your family. Remember to stay strong.

Camino, now I'm starting to understand the point of your other thread. You are a much valued member here, we all wish you the best, kind sir.

Thats sad, just seems so wrong, doesnt it? Ive been down that road far to many times and I hate to hear about others lookin it in the eye. Just makes me shake my head. Remember "Carry on................."

My God Camino, I'm really sorry to hear that. May luck and comfort be with you.

Damn man, sorry to hear about that. Hope everything works out how you want it, or atleast the best it possibly can dude.

Wow... suddenly the Firehawk sale does not seem like a big

concern when you have to deal with something this difficult.

I wish I had some insight or advice but I do not. I can not

say I know how you feel or whatever because I've been

lucky enough to not deal with something like that.

I'm very sad to hear this as I consider you a good friend.

All I can say is I hope things go as well as can be expected

given the horrible cinrcumstances. Let us know how you,

your Dad & the family are doing from time to time.

I'm not very religious but you're in my prayers so to speak.

Thanks everyone, it's been a tough night and reading your messages of support really helps.

Hope you can find the strength to make it through this difficult time, Camino.

Sad to hear man...

I really hope everything gets better for you and your family soon.

Just always remember, good times are always ahead.

The best of luck from me, your a valued member.

This must be tough. I will add your family to my list of those I pray for. It must especially be tough if you are close-knit. I will hold good thoughts.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully you will have the time to say what you need to say, so you can have some sense of closure.

Camino, I definately have to echo the thoughts of many others. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Stay strong, brother, and spend what time you can as a family. Positive thoughts go a long way to helping cope with things like this. That comes from experience, my friend.

Good luck and God be with you.

Really sorry to hear..that just sucks.... :(

I'l keep you and your family in my prayers...

Just don't forget to let those emotions out once in a while. (Even if it is a good cry)

It's very easy to "suck " it up and bottle it in. Letting some go will help will help

feel a little more at ease and positive in a difficult time...

I'd give you all my strength if I could in your time of need. Just remember that some of us here have experienced the loss of a family member in this way and we know what you're going through. I, like everyone else, am here for you if needed. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Your father is in our thoughts and prayers. Make his final days comfortable and surround him with love.

Like Bueller said, let him know that you love him and be there for him. God bless, my prayers are on their way.

Just wanted to let you guys know that my dad somehow has moved a step or two back from the brink. His situation hasn't really changed, but he's been up and around a bit and present if you get what I mean. There was one night there when I was sure none of that would happen again.

Thanks for all of your support. 8)
