Saw one driving the other day on the highway (hwy 400 for the Ontarians). No pics though. called my buddy at Brampton to confirm this was OEM and not some afftermarket mod, and he said its true. If anything were to take me away from GM, this is it. Its pure, unadulterated sex I tell ya.
so when are they gonna offer it in a manual tranny? thats when i buy one

NEVER. I think that's already been stated by DCX. Auto-only, the demand is insane already, so the engineering costs probably wouldn't even be worth it to make a stick.
It's an Auto-Stick......if that helps? .........probably not!! I really wouldn't call it the "Charger's hood scoop" since the hood's are completely different. I think all of the Dodge SRT's should come with a hood scoop.....just as long as it looks appropriate!

What does that mean for the upcomming challenger?...
I'll blame it on Mercedes... sine they offer hardly anything that offers manual transmission (granted they have a 7 speed auto...)
I would expect Chrysler to buy a 6-speed manual for the Challenger because the demand will definetly be there. It's unexceptable that in a performance vehicle a stick isn't at least offered. They could buy a few thousand 6-speed manuals from a supplier and make them available in the SRTs.
