Yes, it just shows what a sensational deal of the century the Corvette Z06 is.
I thought the vette was tested at doing 0-60 in like 3.5 or something like that?
I have little enthusiasm for this class of vehicles. I really like the centered exhaust tubes, and the rear is nicely finished for the segment, but there's too many 'untucked edges' on this one for me to run down to Spencers and pick up the poster. Is that cd number right: .37?? Yikes! that's pretty bad! An '82 Trans Am was at .31

Yeah, that's what MT got. And like you said in another thread with the Z06's tires being runflats they probably aren't the best. I'm guessing this has better tires and gets better times because of it.

That's probably typical of the supercar "cottage industry"... fast, senseless, impractical cars designed to shock and awe but not much more. In this regard, the modern "mass produced" Ferraris are in a class of their own, IMO.

Have to agree there, Bathy. Exotics do nothing for me but scream 'waste of money.'

If one must spend $200-400k on a car, why not a cushy Bentley, Rolls, or Maybach? At least you can sit in traffic comfortably. Exotics are only fun if you can open them up. If you simply want eyes staring at you, better off to buy one of those crapbox Fiero Ferrari kitcars.

I am so glad they make outrageous cars like this. I aspire to them. It's a good reason to become a billionaire. I really like this and other cars of it's type. I too want a sports car for the next one. Life is short, let's have fun driving.
