August 30, 200619 yr That looks very similar to the current Yaris 5-dr hatch available in Europe mixed with the front end off the current Yaris sedan here. I doubt the new Corolla would look that much like it. This might just be concept pics of the Yaris redesign for the European 5 door.

I'm a little surprised they're waiting two more years though. I've noticed many more Mazda3's on the road, and plenty of new Civic's. With fuel prices the way they are, I didn't think being complacent was an option.

They look like anime characters...Toyota's old vanilla designs at least looked like normal cars. There was a simple elegance to mid-90s Toyotas, but now they're either overwrought or ugly.
