Nissan North America Announces August Sales

maxima up? bizarre, about as much as the avalon is down. I'm cool with that.

versa sales make up for lost altima sales.

murano sales are proof of the country going crossver. Fored Edge sales will bit into this and Acadia and Outlook have great prospects for the future.

I think Nissan has peaked like VW did a few years ago.

The Titan is on pace to sale just 66,00-67,000 for the year, (Less then what Ford and GM each does in any given month!) which would be down about 15-20%.

I for one find that surprising. I thought they did a pretty good job on a first time real full size truck, but the buyers don't seam to think so.

There sales are down on a 3rd year truck more then GM trucks are in there last year of a 8-1/2 year run. (14.6% vs 17.2%) And GM sales are skewed due to last summers huge employee sale.
