TORRANCE, Calif. 09/01/2006 -- American Honda light truck sales increased 10.5 percent for August and set an all-time record with sales of 69,385 light trucks. American Honda year-to-date sales are up 5.3 percent to 1,044,284 units, while sales for the month are down 6.7 percent to 151,253 units based on the daily selling rate.

Those numbers are hilarious. The only vehicles that aren't new (RDX, CR-V, Fit) and posted an increase are both about to be dead, the RSX and Insight :lol:

The Accord tanked badly, though last August was amazing.

I think that last August was just really good. 34.5k is actually better than average for the Accord.

It's also interesting to note that at the 6-month point, the Accord was ahead of the Camry in retail sales by 6k units: http://fleet-central.com/af/t_pop_pdf.cfm?...06/cars_web.pdf
