CHERRY HILL, N.J., Sept. 1, 2006 -- Subaru of America, Inc. August sales were up two percent as compared to the same period last year, posting 17,809 total units for the month. Subaru Impreza sales jumped dramatically up 47 percent in August, while total sales for the brand are up three percent year-to-date from the previous year.
