In many ways, AMG accepted its biggest challenge in doing the R63. Teaching a beast like the R-Class to dance, making such an abundantly heavy car seem light on its feet, is really quite a stunt. But they pulled it off. Next up for AMG: world peace, time travel and figuring out women.

AMG can also be credited with giving Mercedes-Benz an even more pointless product than the standard R-Class.

Now that's an accomplishment.

Hey, if you're going to be forced to drive a family hauler, you may as well be able to haul ass while doing it.

A mercedes minivan? No, thank you. A modded mercedes minivan??? A joke. I rather haul ass in anything else.

I got to ride in (not drive though) an R500 at work, and it was actually quite nice. It looks dumb, yes, but the interior was nicely done and it rode well.
