September 2, 200619 yr I was not one of the popular kids in H.S. It was a rich town and $$$ = collness level. I dated a Goth for a while & hung out with many of the misfits & rebels... I even have a weird fascination with Goth girls. The true Goth girls were not trashy and skanky, my Goth ex was actually somewhat "deep", she was a tall knockout of a sexy thing... but this whole guys wearing eyeliner and being "emo"... WTF is that? LAME x 1,000,000.
September 2, 200619 yr I'd like for all Emo kids to wear ID tags on their ears so I'll know who they are...
September 2, 200619 yr Not only did I have to deal with the enviro-nuts and "wiggers" (skinny white guys who try to be black) and "chiggers" (Chinese guys who try to be black!) and "thai-gers" at my school, as well as the granola enviro-nuts who believed that if everybody hugged each other there'd be no war ... then this "emo" fad started. I was so glad to get out of high school just when it started. Totally up.
September 2, 200619 yr Emo is just a new fad taking up the slack where other fads left off. I remember when I was in 8th grade up through about sophomore or junior year, listening to 2Pac and walking around with baggy ass pants that hung down halfway to your knees somehow made you cool. JNCOs I think they were called. But at least the baggy pants wanna-be thugs didn't act like complete morons. My sister, her friends, and a couple of people I knew here at college are going through their emo phase...my sister already dyed her hair black and is trying to get her lip pieced, and I'm cringing. My ex-girlfriend from high school recently dyed her hair black and got her lip and nose pierced....and she used to have beautiful blonde hair. My sister had me pick up an AFI CD for her birthday, and when I was in the checkout line some emo dude said "nice...that's a sweet album, what's your favorite song, mine is [don't remember], it's an Offspring cover, but I think AFI did a better version, this album is even better than [some other AFI album]...(more rambling)...what other AFI discs do you have?" (pause) Me: "...this is actually for my sister...I don't listen to them" (awkward silence) "...receipt's in the bag..." I'm sure Sid Vicious and all the other leaders of the punk revolution in the 1970s would be ashamed at what has become of the whole genre. Edited September 2, 200619 yr by mustang84
September 2, 200619 yr Author Dude...be strong, your sister will make it through this, ill pray for her tonight.
September 3, 200619 yr JNCOs I think they were called. 188380 People around here called them "Junkies." JNCO is a brand that makes clothes though, so maybe...I remember when Lee Pipes were cool.
September 3, 200619 yr I forget, are acid wash jeans still cool? Man, I hope so or I'm in deep . . . 188484 I'd say they're on a level of popularity with these bad boys:
September 3, 200619 yr I wear camo all the time so nobody can see me. I was wearing a camo shirt at the mall the other day and this chick was like "I can totally see your legs and head but where is your torso?" And I was like, "its there, but you cant see it, thats the power of camoflage, bitch." She was like, "really? I totally cant see your torso, thats awesome." I'm going to paint my car camo.
September 3, 200619 yr Go ahead, paint your car camo. Then post the picture in your sig when somebody hits it because it's invisible.
September 5, 200619 yr Satty does not need help getting his car totalled... 188681 Neither does Josh, difference is mine didn't result in a DUI.....
