September 4, 200619 yr As some of you may know, GM offers a clubsport package for the Solstice as well as some track only accessories to meet SCCA requirements which allow you to take your new Solstice racing at the local road course. My question is, what do you think of GM offering a clubsport package for the new Camaro?
September 4, 200619 yr I'd be for it, but I get the feeling it'll create confusion with the possible Z/28 asd SS packages.

September 4, 200619 yr In the other thread, "Camaro trim," I posted that maybe Z28 should be a performance handling package on the SS, so this would work well, I think.

September 4, 200619 yr Any clubsport would, by definition, be a Z28. 188887 That's pretty much exactly what I was about to post..
September 4, 200619 yr Author I hope they do this and take it beyond the 1LEs of the past as far as content goes.

September 9, 200619 yr Yes! But make it easy to look street legal so us folks in states not saddled with emmisions testing can drive them. 191230 yeahyeahyeah AND fascia delete option- then get the Firebird fascias from S.P.O...and a twin scoop hood
September 20, 200619 yr Author Something tells me I struck a nerve with this topic. Chevy would be smart to do things like this to expand the legend rather than simply milking its past. I'd like to see Camaros everywhere in motorsports (well, not NASCAR). Unique factory packages will go a long way toward this car being taken seriously.
