    Cool I like that one, I just found another old one I liked searching Olds on Ebay. It had a early 80's 350 Olds Toronado drivetrain mounted midship. Looked kinda of Dino ish. I might like this one even better. Opening windows is a big thing with me though, Screw AC I want AIR. The front of this looks kinda Bora/Merak meets Corvette, hmm I just dont know but I like it.

    No, the original is not Italian, but one of the licensed manufacturers was.

    To be honest GT1750, I know it was based off of the VW bug, it was made in California as the "Sterling" and also in the UK under the same name. It dates from the early 70s possibly late 60s.

    A modified Sterling by the name "NOVA" was also made in Australia and So. Afrika... or something like that. I belive productoion was from 1970 to like 1979 wiht a few years missing in the middle there. Although most of these cars retained VW power I've heard of some having Buick 3800s.

    Like I said I'm no expert, so feel free to tear my hazy memory to bits.

    yea, I suppose it does have a bit of Stratos influence but if it was made in 70 it would predate the Stratos wouldnt it ? But its not Italian anyhow. Bodys got to be Italian even if the car is not.

    OK, the British original from 70s was called Nova and produced by Nova Cars. New owner renamed the company to Aerotec in 2000. Some of the licensed producers: Eagle, Eureka, Puma, Purvis, Scorpion, Sterling
