September 6, 200619 yr The United States isn't the only place the Dodge Caliber is selling like hot cakes. According to a report by Automotive News Europe, the Caliber is enjoying a great deal of success in many European markets, with many customers now facing six-month waiting lists. "We underestimated demand for the product," Chrysler's Thomas Hausch told the trade publication. So far, the car has been on the market for three months overseas. Sales thus far have totaled 3,238 Calibers in western Europe. In 2005, Dodge sold 311 vehicles in total in the same market. The vehicles are selling "without any incentives," a major dealer in Paris said.
