September 9, 200619 yr I thought this was pretty cool...I got an e-mail yesterday saying my GM video was being featured in the new Video of the Week feature at GM FYI blogs. It's a collection of commercials and pics I've saved over the years with some fitting background music. I think I posted it on here a long time ago, but to see it again, go here: http://fyi.gmblogs.com/
September 9, 200619 yr Author Saxon - "Dallas 1 PM"...a song about Kennedy's assassination. The lyrics didn't really have anything to do with the video, but the instrumental parts worked really well.
September 9, 200619 yr Mustang, wow man. That was a very inspiring video. Congratulations on having it featured!
September 9, 200619 yr First video on the GM FYI blogs is by Mustang84. Anyway, sweet video! If you're interested.. Scott Settlemire posted this on CamaroZ28.com with a nice twist to it if you win: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=456698

September 11, 200619 yr Awesome job. I love old vidoes like that. P.S. Noticed your from IA. My brother went to a small town called Onslow recently to pick up a 67 Ford he bought on Ebay and said it was a really nice state with freindly people. Sorry I didn't make the trip with him. Edited September 11, 200619 yr by I hope GMRULES again

Do you know what part of the state it's in?I don't know if he noticed it on his drive through here, but if you pass a farm truck out in the country and wave, 85% of the time they'll wave back.

The weird thing is, something about this version sounds "louder," so to speak. Not really volume-wise... the sound seems fuller or something. Is this version off "Strong Arm of the Law"? Or is it from a different album?
September 12, 200619 yr Nice job. That's how to create image, leadership, and aspiration. GM should take a hard look at this kind of material. Forget "Red Tag", "March Madness", and "72 Hour Sale". Put this type of marketing in front of the public and GM will make strides not seen in decades. For the "Mark of Excellence" to have meaning we must move away from "distress" and focus on "impress". I like it! Buickman Edited September 12, 200619 yr by buickman
September 12, 200619 yr Awesome video...just one small gripe. There was no Saab or Hummer emblem at the end. No love for these guys?

Awesome video...just one small gripe. There was no Saab or Hummer emblem at the end. No love for these guys? 192304[/snapback] Yeah, I kinda forgot to put them in. My main passion is for the original GM brands, although for some reason I stuck Saturn in there.

He bought the car from a farmer and the guy even let my brother spend the night in his house if you can believe that. He had to take it to a Ford dealer in another town to get something fixed before the drive home and a lot of people were checking out the car because no one had ever seen it before even though this town was only 15 miles from were the car lived for 40 years.
