Paris Preview: Hyundai Arnejs

The Arnejs (pronounced Ar-nez) will replace the Accent and Elantra, and compete with the VW Golf and Opel Astra among others. Engine options will include a 1.4-liter gas engine and a 2.0-liter diesel, and even a hybrid is possible.

I think it's fugly. Then again, I tend to not like cars in that segment.

Well, at least it stands out...

... but I'll bet money that this'll get distilled into a vehicle that makes the Optra look exciting.

I like it. It's kinda French looking.

I like it...and I think it looks larger than it is. Perfect for this segment as it isn't overly goofy or tall looking. Nice high beltline.

It won't replace the Accent or the Elantra, it's just the European 2-box version of the Elantra, using the same RC platform.

I love how Hyundai ripped off a Bentley name but used a different spelling.

Overall, not bad but it will be watered down by the time production rolls around.
