September 14, 200619 yr On a crystal morning I can see the dewdrops falling down from a gleaming heaven I can hear the voices call When you coming home now, son. The world is not for you Tell me what's your point of view Hey there, mister madman watcha know that I don't know Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away Tell me what made you that way Here I am just waiting for a sign All my life I knew that it was mine It's always here, It's always there It's just love and miracles out of nowhere Tell me now dear mother, what's it like to be so old Children grown and leaving, seems the world is growing cold Though your body's ailing you, your mind is just like new Tell me where you're going to It's so simple lying right before your eyes If you'll only look through this disguise It's always here, It's always there It's just love and miracles out of nowhere Love and miracles out of nowhere Out of nowhere
September 14, 200619 yr Monumental pieces of work that have forever steered my musical interests. Not my oldest roots but one of my strongest.
September 14, 200619 yr Look......the mist is rising and sun is peeking through See the steps grow lighter As I reach the final few Hear the dancing waters I must be drawing near Feel my heart is pounding With embattled hope and fear Now at last I fall before the Fountain of Lamneth I thought I would be singing But I'm tired.....out of breath Many journeys end here But, the secrets told the same Life is just a candle and a dream must give it flame The key, the end, the answer Stripped of their disguise Still it's all confusion and tears spring to my eyes thought Ive reached a signpost its really not the end Like Old Sol' behind the mountain I'll be coming up again Im in motion I am still I am crying I am still I'm together I'm apart I'm forever at the start Still........I am
September 14, 200619 yr Some lyrics that have been stuck in my head all day. People you love Will turn their backs on you You'll lose your hair Your teeth Your knife will fall out of its sheath But you still don't like to leave before the end of the movie People you hate will get their hooks into you They'll pull you down You'll frown They'll tar you and drag you through town But you still don't like to leave before the end of the movie No you still don't like to leave before the end of the show People you hate will get their hooks into you They'll pull you down You'll frown They'll tar you and drag you through town But you still don't like to leave before the end of the movie No you still don't like to leave before the end of the show
September 14, 200619 yr got me on that one Dart but I can relate, very recent hardcore experience infact, not people I hate but entity I have always been alarmed by, then they got their hooks in me, it was surreal, I kept thinking this only happens in movies. Somehow it seemed I must have always been expecting it but still was not prepared. It was very much not of this world.

Are you making fun of the song, or did somebody seriously do something awful to you?
September 14, 200619 yr It's quite an odd Cake song, banjo and accordion! I just like it because it's almost anti-Goth or anti-Emo. It's like, "S**t happens, but you're still you, in the end"
September 14, 200619 yr no tone, serious and frank, could almost be used word for word Dont know "Cake" or goth or Emo for that matter either. Too old, Im out of the trend loop. Edited September 14, 200619 yr by razoredge
September 14, 200619 yr Cool. He're another strange one for everybody. Let me tell you about a girl I know, had a drink about a hour ago. Sitting in a corner by herself, in a bar in downtown Hell. She heard a noise and she looked through the door. And saw a man she'd never seen before. Light skin, light blue eyes, a double-chin and a plastic smile. Well, her heart raced as he walked in the door And took an empty seat next to her at the bar. "My brand new car is parked right outside. How'd ya like to go for a ride?" And she said."Wait a minute I have to think." He said, "That's fine. May I please buy you a drink" One drink turned into 3 or 4 and they left and got into his car and they drove away someplace real far. Now babe the time has come. How'd ya like to have a little fun? And she said."If we could only please be on our way, I will not run." That's when things got out of control. She didn't want to, he had his way. She said, "Let's Go" He said, "No Way!" Come on babe it's your lucky day. Shut your mouth, were gonna do it my way. Come on baby don't be afraid, if it wasn't for date rape I'd never get laid. He finished up and he started the car He turned around and drove back to the bar. He said."Now baby don't be sad, in my opinion you weren't half-bad." She picked up a rock.,threw it at the car, hit him in the head, now he's got a big scar. Come on party people won't you listen to me. Date Rape Stylee. The next day she went to her drawer, look up her local attorney at law, went to the phone and filed the police report and then she took the guy's ass to court. Well, the day he stood in front of the judge he screamed, "She lies that little slut!" The judge knew that he was full of $h! and he gave him 25 years And now his heart is filled with cheers. One night in jail it was getting late. He was butt-raped by a large inmate, and he screamed. But the guards paid no attention to his cries. That's when things got out of control. The moral of the date rape story, it does not pay to be drunk and horny. But that's the way it had to be. They locked him up and threw away the key. Well, I can't take pity on men of his kind, even though he now takes it in the behind. But that's the way it had to be. They locked him up and threw away the key. Well, I can't take pity on men of his kind, even though he now takes it in the behind. DATE RAPE! She didn't want to [x4] TAKE IT!
September 14, 200619 yr now that was funny, I like more mystical or mythical stuff, deeper, symbolic messages from aged old tales, that definantly have nothing to do with rape. I had a rough draft of a song that included a passage about rape. I cant find my book, so I wont try to quote it. the title was "Profits for Pain"
September 14, 200619 yr I love Sublime I must admit, older Lifehouse is good too :] I'd rather I chase your shadow all my life Than be afraid of my own I'd rather be with you I'd rather not know Where I'll be than Be alone and convinced that I know When the world keeps spinning round My world's upside down And I wouldn't change a thing I've got nothing else to lose I lost it all when I found you And I wouldn't change a thing No, you and I wouldn't change a thing Everything I know has let me down So I will just let go Let you turn me inside out Cause I know I'm not sure about anything But you wouldn't have it any other way When the world keeps spinning round My world's upside down And I wouldn't change a thing I've got nothing else to lose I lost it all when I found you And I wouldn't change a thing No, you and I wouldn't change a thing Spinning turning watching burning All my life has found its meaning Walking crawling climbing falling All my life has found its meaning You and I wouldn't change a thing No, you and I wouldn't change a thing When the world keeps spinning round My world's upside down And I wouldn't change a thing I've got nothing else to lose I lost it all when I found you And I wouldn't change a thing No, you and I wouldn't change a thing No, you and I wouldn't change a thing

I saw the colossal landscape Of which I never was a part It was a magical day Of which I’d never seen before The first time I saw colossal girl The first time I saw colossal girl Such glowing mountains before us Pillars of life all fade away Of all the things I need to say girl All of these woods are in my way The first time I saw colossal girl Well she's running to the hills again Can you tell me if she'll ever return She must be mother natures child Cause she's runnin' to the call of the wild She's talkin' to the trees again Tellin' me that she's one of them Lookin' at the bird in the tree Though she's never gonna notice me Oh is my love a confession Will I just put it back today If I had a love to give you Would you still throw it all away The first time I saw colossal girl The first time I saw colossal girl Well she's running to the hills again Can you tell me if she'll ever return She must be mother natures child Cause she's runnin' to the call of the wild She's talkin' to the trees again Tellin' me that she's one of them Lookin' at the bird in the tree Though she's never gonna notice me Can you remember the first time we met Living together in colossal times Some things are given with no reason why Living together in colossal times I'm just a gypsy with wondering eyes I'll tell you secrets that send you to sleep All I can give you is all of my love These are the things I can give you to keep I'm just a gypsy with wondering eyes I'll tell you secrets that send you to sleep All I can give you is all of my love These are the things I can give you to keep Would you believe that's brand new? Wolfmother is a great new band that would be right at home in the 1970s.
