September 15, 200619 yr Chinese Chery U.S. Debut Postponed Again Malcolm Bricklin once again has pushed back the entry date for the vehicles he wants to import to North America from Chinese automaker Chery — this time until late 2008 or early 2009. September 15, 200619 yr It's going to fail. A BMW for the price of a Honda? How about a Honda for the price of a Honda first? Bricklin doesn't get "luxury" if he thinks it can be engineered and sold cheaply.
September 15, 200619 yr One of these Chinese companies is bound to make it here eventually. Every delay is a good thing, though.
September 15, 200619 yr Those pieces of $h! are gonna break dow before they make it outta the lot
September 15, 200619 yr What's this, like the third or fourth time this has happened? If it's getting pushed back so much, it's likely that this venture is going to fail. This isn't good PR for Chinese cars because this will just reiterate the notion that they are crap-tastic.
September 16, 200619 yr Chery cars are probabily like all the chinese products:they look ok,but they last a few minutes.Plus, they are restyled versions of other car models. :angry2:
