The wife of incoming DaimlerChrysler AG chief executive Dieter Zetsche has pleaded no-contest to throwing a party where minors were drinking.
The Detroit News reports Gisela Zetsche allegedly violated a Bloomfield Township, Mich., ordinance when she threw a party for one of her sons friends June 17.
Police were called to the couples home by neighbors complained of teenage drinkers who threw things at cars, and found empty beer cups, kegs and liquor bottles.
Twenty-one minors were ticketed for underage drinking.
Zetsche faces 90 days in jail and a $500 fine.
A date for sentencing has not been set

...because doing keg stands and what not is sooooo cool.
I don't know how long the Zetsches have been here, but drinking beer in Germany is not that big of a deal for anyone over 16. I guess you have to follow our laws though.
Sounds like my entire family... Yay. :P
