A few pictures from the Barrie autoshow in Ontario. Taken by polish_kris.

The new Sentra reminds me of a sort of Asian Cobalt/ION.

Better than the old Sentra; then again, what isn't? Yet another horrible Nissan three-spoke wheel design, though a more realistically-sized wheel (*cough*ELANTRA*cough*) is noted and appreciated.

Also, Cobalt has gas struts. Why can't the Sentra?

I like it. It's kinda funky and Euro without looking ridiculous like the Yaris or Fit.

It's pretty nice overall but I just think the taillights could've been better executed.

Agreed. I have no problem with Altezzas anymore, but that big expanse of metal at the top of the taillight bugs me.

Make it coupe (like the Azeal concept), fix the ride height and the proportions, and fix the taillamps then you might have my attention.

I'm sorry but I don't see a shred of Aura styling (wanna-be or otherwise) in that car.

I'm waiting to see one in person to see if it looks tippy like it does in some photos. Overall, nice. Wanna see the SE-R, or at least some sort of sport model. SE? With manual transmission.

varience.. i think 68 means at least the rear lights, i see it there....after that... nah

BV likes. Although... Parts of the dash looks cheap and I agree with the general consensus that the taillights could have looked better.

I like it. It's a huge improvement over the old car. I'm looking forward to seeing the SE-R version.

the interior in these pics looks cheaper than any other pics i've seen.

How's the room?, this car, too, is supposed to be very commodious.

Interior design looks quite nice, the tail lights are a bit busy...but that style should appeal to the targeted age group. Way better than the old one. I happen to like the 3-spoke.

WHY OH WHY are the foreign car makers so dumb as to design compacts that cannot have their radio replace?

It looks like it can be replaced, t's a stereo head unit, not fully inegrated. It just looks that way cuz it's color matched, unlike some companies who thrive on cheap black plastic.

Hope you don't mean GM, because the Cobalt can be had with silver trim with matching radio.

Not the Cobalt specificaly, but several GM products, and not just GM...Chrysler, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, and some Toyota models do it too.

I agree. It's very well put together, IMO. I like the front and rear of the car. It kills the Corolla (and next gen Corolla) and the Civic. As before mentioned, the Cobalt has gas struts... why can't the Sentra? Overall, very nice.

It's much better than the current-gen. I hope this one feels like it has power steering. The exterior looks classy but too much like the rest of the Nissan car lineup, IMO. I know car manufacturers want to have some sort of family resemblance but carbon copies are a bit much. The interior looks nice for an economy car. Nissan sort of used the DCX interior template but gave it some class.
