Take one part Mercedes A-Class

Foglights from a new Lexus IS

Side profile from a Nissan Murano

Taillights from a Volvo

Take random 90's headlights for inspiration.

..what, that's not original enough? Let's just give it a really wierd name...

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

The Chery QQ has a more original design than this.

Not bad but the rear 3/4 looks a little weird with the windows.

It looks good, but it just looks like a big rip off of everything. <_<

It's not to my tastes, but man, it's nice to see something different for this category of vanilla cars.

No-one has mentioned Mazda3 yet.

...

Looks like a Mazda3 with a bad back end, Volvo taillights, and a weird window.

:P

but in other news... um... its... interesting? anyone have any idea where that name came from? i dunno... this is way out there... i cant even say whether i like it or not... i have yet to comprehend the ideation behin this...

Regarding the name Cee'd.

Apparently Kia wanted something that people would remember and talk about. It's a loose representation of: European Community/European Design.

And another symbolic intent was for this car to be the 'seed' of continued growth.

So there you have it.

see saw.

i seed, i sawed,.. i no likeyd... arent all of hyundais and kias loose interpretations of someone elses designs anyway? except maybe that new sonata and camry... im not sure what came around first but i know honda's probably pissed at both.

Well people are talking about cee'd. Many people, including me find it as a very nice car...

To me, it looks original enough, with a few parts here and there that they burrowed, like most companys do these days. Burrowing better designs and intergrates to it. To me, it looks like a Kia version of Hyundai's I30. I am not a fan of neither since I don't like small cars, but it doesn't look too bad. It's only for Korea and Europe right? Too bad we won't see it in the Stateside anytime soon.
